10/24/2010 - Poker Run 2010 Benefiting Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, Irvine BMW, Orange County

On Sunday, October 24th, Irvine BMW had the honor of hosting and sponsoring the Poker Run 2010, which benefited the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation.
 
The event had a successful turnout where many local supporters came out to the Irvine BMW/Irvine MINI dealership to partake in the event, raise funds and help educate others about the organization's goals and mission.
 
Irvine BMW/Irvine MINI was honored to have Dan and Christy Johnson as their special speakers. The Johnson's had the opportunity to share their emotional story of their brave son who at 8 years of age passed away from cancer.
 
Through struggles and tribulations, the Jonson's brave son, Thomas Johnson allowed them to stay positive and motivated to find a cure for the devastating diseases. Today, Dan and Christy Johnson are proud supporters of the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, and like many people who have been affected by cancer, they continue to raise awareness and raise funds to find a cure.

The Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1982 to improve the care, quality of life and survival rate of children with malignant diseases.
