12/06/2010 - Irvine BMW Partners With Team Kids As They Raise $106,000 During The Wonderful World Event
On Friday, December 3rd, Team Kids held the Wonderful Word event to benefit their organization at the Oakley World Headquarters in Foothill Ranch.
Irvine BMW was honored as the event’s 10 Year Anniversary Sponsor and was pleased with its success. With over 300 guests, the event helped raise $106,000 for the organization.
“Irvine BMW is thrilled to have been Team Kids anniversary sponsor,” said Irvine BMW’s General Manager, Steve Rudkin. “As a successful brand, we want to help our surrounding charities become successful as well. By helping our local charities we help our communities as a whole,” he said.
Guests were treated to gourmet appetizers, desserts and drinks. They were also able to participate in a private shopping event at the Oakley employee store, where proceeds benefited the Team Kids organization.

Since its founding, close to 28,000 kids have generated over $270,000 in donated items and funds for local non-profits.
Team Kids is devoted to providing service learning activities for children and young adults. The programs help raise self-esteem and confidence while empowering them to serve as advocates in their schools and communities.
