The xDrive30i uses many of the same powertrain components that are equipped in the xDrive30e but adds a larger battery pack to the powertrain, extending the electric range of the model.

The lineup of plug-in hybrid BMW X5 SAV models consists of the X5 sDrive40i, X5 xDrive40i, and X5 xDrive45i. All three models offer mid-size SUV comfort, plug-in hybrid efficiency, and powerful BMW performance.

The plug-in hybrid models of the BMW 3 Series see the BMW 330e and BMW 330e xDrive. In addition to several other features, the 330e xDrive is equipped with a dependable all-wheel drive drivetrain.
